Prayer for a Loving Relationship

Beloved One,
Nurturing Love that holds the Universe,
infuse my life with healing. Help me to be at one with
who I am. Help me to accept myself in spite of all my limitations,  and to accept  others. Heal the wounds
 within me, the scars that distort my sight with
criticism, that close my heart to hope, to
the joy of easy sharing and laughter.
 
Mender of my Soul, I turn to you in trust for guidance.
 Help me to create a healing, deep relationship, and to
 draw peace and safety into our shared lives. Open my
mind to an understanding of how profoundly I am
nourished with every breath, of how much my life is
maintained by the work of strangers. Open my life
to true belonging - to a partner, a home, a community,
 a world. I pray in the name of the Light that surrounds
 me, that is my heart. Amen."
