Prayer for Healing and Self-Nurture

Beloved Unity of all life, Heart that beats the Universe into becoming, I turn to you in gratitude and thanksgiving. All that I am is a gift from You, a gift precious beyond knowing. Help me to honor myself, and the efforts I make day by day in self-care. Help me to be comfortable with receiving, with gifting myself, with acts of pleasure and joy. Support me in releasing habits of self-pity, loneliness, and worthlessness, as I grow in attending to and valuing my authentic needs. 
I turn to You for help in living my commitment to choose wisely for myself. Draw me more and more to the choices, friendships, relationships and conscious communities that are nurturing and reflect Your love for me. Be with me when I am a motherless child. Help me to reach out to my community for caring. May Your blessings help me to render that care back, again and again. 
Heart of my Heart, be with me as I re-member and live into the paradox: that it is in opening and accepting myself fully that I am most aligned with and embodying Your sacred will. Amen
