How Can I

how can I
tell the shape of this
scouring grief
each wave carves its
track some day my
innards will show agate-like
the strands of its dancing
repeated colors

How can I begin to
hold this meager
sorrow knowing your
dance is of sky of
luminous zones that hold
your new body perfectly

how can I even call time
to that dance the steps twist
through years I thought everyone
thought would be simple and
simple is no bigger than a
gnat's punctuation

how can I reach through
the fabric of this
knowledge suspended
a hanged man
in the ravels of your
eternal
web again
I said luminous
dancing
beautiful
